The Foundation

The Dallas Foundation for Psychoanalysis (DFP) is a non-profit organization that supports the Center. It serves as a bridge between the Center and the community and promotes a psychoanalytic understanding to help solve the emotional problems of adults, children and families in the metroplex.  Thus, the Foundation Board is composed of members from the community, as well as Center faculty and candidates. 

The DFP organizes and coordinates programs, lectures, and consultation for public agencies, schools, and religious organizations.

THE VALUE OF PSYCHOANALYSIS TO THE COMMUNITY

As a bridge between the Center and the larger, social and educational community in Dallas, the Foundation promotes and provides psychoanalytic sponsorship in the following ways.
